Two Bald Nuts - We’re Alive

We are alive and back, as too are some technical difficulties, but it wouldn't be a remote recording for us without those issues. NBA and NHL Finals are in full swing, highly competitive fun series for each that apparently no one else is watching based on the ratings. Not much Buckeye news other than Men's basketball cornering the market on average white guys to add to the roster. Michigan had their days in front of the NCAA as those hearings took place this past week, but we won't know the results for a couple more months. Columbus Crew continue to struggle, but it's a long season. And we give out Top 5 Spoof Movies, and one of us cheated on their list!

Two Bald Nuts - Hell is Real

Hell is Real, as the Columbus Crew play to a draw against Cincinnati FC (aka KFC). Tale of two halves, Crew had their chances to win but couldn't get the go head goal. Ohio State Lacrosse lost its first round matchup against Notre Dame, ending a tremendous season prematurely. Some difficult off-field issues involving former Buckeye wrestling and Olympic champion Kyle Snyder and current Women's Head Coach Kevin McGuff. We also have some fun and give our Top "If it's on TV, I'll watch" movies, and no surprise what the first movie is mentioned!

Playoffs for the NHL and NBA enter round 2. Cavs are in dire straights losing the first two games at home. Buckeye Lacrosse wins the B1G and open NCAA tournament play against Notre Dame. A lot of off-field news in college football, Jim Knowles gives a strange interview and account of his departure from Ohio State and Michigan living in delusion at this point. We'll be off on Sunday for Mothers Day... so Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!

Summertime is upon us as May rolls around. With the NFL draft in the books, NHL Playoffs take center stage for one of us, but the NBA isn't a serious product and neither of us have watched a game. The Cleveland Cavaliers keep rolling but until they make the Conference finals, doesn't seem to be any need to watch until then. There has been some news off the field, with Bill Belichick and his girlfriend under bizarre exchange with the media and tragedy involving former NFL legend and Hall of Famer John Elway where his business partner died falling off a golf cart that Elway was driving. Columbus Crew stay on their winning track, and Ohio State Lacrosse pursues a B1G tournament title.

The NFL draft Recap edition as the three day event concluded yesterday, with a lot of drama and a lot of Buckeyes getting drafted. We breakdown when and where the former Buckeyes landed as well as the Ohio NFL teams and our teams, the Bears and Broncos. Obviously, the big news of the weekend with Shedeur Sanders freefall. Ohio State women's tennis beats Michigan to win the B1G and the Columbus Crew keep on rolling.

The 2025 NFL Draft is upon us, which is like Christmas for us. We give our top picks in the draft, and who we see our teams, Broncos and Bears, drafting this year along with where we see the Buckeyes going. We also talk about the shake-up on 97.1 The Fan as they make some changes to their show and pairings. Buckeye Lacrosse wins the B1G Championship for the 1st time, the Columbus Blue Jackets just miss the playoffs and the Crew lose to Miami in Cleveland. A lot to catch up on after a week layoff but the news never stops.

We are big Carolina Hurricanes fans tonight, though not looking good as we speak, but Carolina needs to beat Montreal in regulation for the Blue Jackets to have a shot at the Stanley Cup playoffs. Rory McIlroy wins the Masters and completes the career Grand Slam. We both were pulling for him; it's a great story and by all accounts, a quality dude. The Nico Iamaleava saga continues and Oregon is coming after Ohio State RB coach Carlos Locklyn in a gamesmanship move. Trademark tangents a plenty on this episode.

It's Masters Sunday and it's a big one for Rory McIlroy to complete the career Grand Slam as he faces his rival Bryson DeChambeau in the final pairing. Ohio State had their Spring Game yesterday with some mixed results but a long way to go until Fall camp. Tennessee football and QB Nico Iamaleava part ways in a bizarre situation in Knoxville and the Blue Jackets keep fighting, as their playoff hopes, while dire, are not dead yet.

Two Bald Nuts - Masters Edition

It is Masters Week, and the unofficial start of Summer. It's also a big weekend for Ohio State athletics with the Football Spring Game on Saturday, but also the #2 ranked Buckeye Men's Lacrosse team taking on Maryland in a top 10 showdown. The Crew keep rolling and look to extend their unbeaten streak to start the season. However, the playoff push for the Blue Jackets appears to be done, still mathematically in it, but at this point it's a long shot, still a hell of a ride and a great foundation built.
